Denim Jacket
I get emails about my thoughts on “wardrobe essentials,” usually from people who are looking to revamp their style. I do believe there are fashion classics, but I would only bother getting them if they are suitable to your environment and personal style.
Here is one example of a wardrobe classic that I did without for a long time. The denim jacket is a slice of americana and a key piece in many closets. I think it’s special because it can be incredibly comfortable while being incredibly stylish. A good one is hard to find.
I haven’t been feeling well lately, so I tried to lift my spirits by wearing a skirt and red lipstick. Unfortunately this did not last long. I felt worse as the day progressed, so I retreated to my bed in pajamas, with the latest Allure magazine, a glass of cool water and a brownie. But I still wanted to share my brief outfit!
