About Me
* My name is Jay I am 25 yrs old. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
* I love for shoes.
* I will be posting outfits on this blog in addition to current fashion obsessions.
* I think you can be fat/plus size and fashionable—hence my blog name.
* My wardrobe is a mix of high end and low end.
* Not everything I post will be from stores that offer plus sizes, I do this to show that one can find cute things outside plus size stores.
* My favorite places to shop are City Chic, Evans, Asos, and Barneys!

Frequently Asked Questions
What size are you?
—I am a size 16 in tops and 18 in bottoms, usually. I’m also about 5’6 - 5’7 tall (without heels!)
How do the UK sizes run (e.g. at Asos, Dororthy Perkins, Evans, etc)?
—First thing to do is to check the size chart and compare to your measurements! I find the size charts for the UK stores to be pretty accurate. Generally, you might have to size up 1 or 2 sizes from your US size. However, the size charts at each retailer will give you a better idea.
For instance, I wear UK 18 is tops and UK 20 in bottoms. Another thing to consider is the cut and fabric content of the clothing. I will get a size UK 18 in a dress if it has an a-line cut or is stretchy. In general, I find Asos and Dorothy Perkins have pretty similar sizing. Evans runs just slightly larger. Also, see below.
I bought a garment at a UK store and it didn’t fit!
—Unfortunately, sizes vary even within stores. I have had to return/exchange at UK stores before, it’s not fun and costs more for postage, but shopping at the UK has been worth it for me.
How long does it take to get a package from the UK to the United States?
—I live in California and it usually takes less than 10 business days to get my order. A few times it may have taken longer. If you think a really long time has passed, you should definitely email the retailer though!
Can you help me find xyz garment/shoes or can you recommend an outfit for xyz event?
—I am happy to help for general things (e.g. cute cocktail dress for less than $200?) but probably can’t help if you are looking for something really specific. Also it’s hard to make a recommendation without a size or your picture, so keep that in mind.
Can we exchange blog links?
—Right now I don’t have a blog list on the page, as you can see. I may update my layout to include one, in which case I will add your blog if it’s one of my daily/regular reads!
Why don’t you post things that come in a larger size range?
—I shop at different places, some of which offer clothing in larger sizes (e.g. Torrid, Evans, Lane Bryant) and some of which do not (e.g. Forever 21, H&M). I try to provide a mix on the blog, though I know I could do better. I am trying!
