My love for denim and cozy layers continues. In working on this post, I shopped several styles of jeans and narrowed it down to my favorites. One of those pairs made it into my last outfit post. These jeans from today are a different style, but still have that high waist + straight leg I love. With minimal distressing, they look super classic while being super comfy too. How cute would this be in your festive family photos this fall–say, at the pumpkin patch or apple orchard?!
I’ve already worn this long sleeve ribbed shirt a couple times–it’s so cozy and the perfect length with these high rise jeans. Of course, it’s the season for sweaters and jackets. While not pictured in this outfit, I have been living in this autumnal tie dye sweatshirt in “terra.” And can we talk about this quilted jacket? It can be hard to find a pretty, midweight jacket. This quilted jacket is just-cozy-enough without being too warm like a winter jacket would be. It’s water resistant in case you get caught in rain and the color is gorgeous.
A few other fall/winter favorites:
- SHACKETS. I’m loving this sherpa shacket and this short plaid shacket which looks really cute with dresses. I might need to pick up this classic rich brown one—so perfect for fall.
- PUFFER jackets in this oversized style (short version, long version) feel modern and super cozy through winter.
- PRETTY PULLOVERS are having a moment too. Love this short, cableknit teal sweater, this beautiful waist tie sweater, and this plaid sweater dress.
