The leaves are changing, the days are (finally!) getting cooler, and I know we’re all suddenly busier with work, school, and life in general. I don’t know about you, but I’m not ready to let go of comfy fashion yet, even though I often have to look somewhat presentable these days. My solution? Oversized classics that can be pulled together with dressy accessories. JCPenney is the perfect place to find these classics at a great price.

On social media I’ve seen this particular combination referred to as the “rich mom” look. It’s effortless, but never basic. Refined, but never stuffy. Sort of like what you’d wear to hang out with your BFF Diane Keaton. Let’s break down the look.

The MOM JEAN is essential, even if you’re not a mom. This relaxed silhouette is so easy to wear and so versatile for fall. It’s high waisted, loose through the leg, and vintage inspired. This pair by a.n.a. comes in both straight-size and plus-size. I love them!
