So I’m completely in love with leather jackets. I’m also really feeling lace right now. There is just something so luxurious about both.

Today I was randomly thinking about bustles and how fancy there were/are. Many fashion professionals will tell you you have to minimize certain areas of the body in order to achieve the most flattering looks. Right now my mood is completely counter to this. I want volume, especially in bottoms!

Here is an outfit experiment with leather and lace. Yes this is a skirt worn as a minidress. Is it too wearing-a-skirt-as-a-dress? I hope not! If it is I’m going to have to find a short lace dress. Let me know your thoughts. How do you like to wear leather and/or lace?
