Not long ago I embarked on a quest to find the lovely Jeffrey Campbell version of the Ann Demeulemeester lace up boots. These were only sold at LF stores. Before this adventure, I didn’t even know what an LF store was! I called stores all over the country in search of these beauties. At last I found the last pair in a Boston store and my size—10. Well, I am more of a 9.5 but I have other JC shoes in 10.

I was doubtful because I had heard they ran large. But I scooped them up eagerly. And then they arrived and I was so happy!

Here are my beauties:

Sadly, they were about an inch too long. While I love shoes, I MUST have them fit perfectly. These obviously did not. Because they were final sale, I had to put them on ebay. I was heartbroken! There is a waitlist for a new shipment for fall at LF stores. You  know I am already on one, lol! These shoes looked amazing with skinny jeans. Because the laces are adjustable, they work well on a variety of shoe widths. Plus size friendly!
